La Paz has an international airport (LAP) convenient for flights from the US offered by several carriers such as Alaska Airlines and Aero Mexico. You can also fly into Los Cabos (SJD) then take the bus to La Paz if you want to explore the entire cape region on your kayaking vacation.
The preferred carrier is Alaska Airlines 800-252-7522 due to reliability factors such as punctuality and fewer problems with baggage. Aero Mexico 800-237-6639 has more choices of indirect flights from the central and eastern US.
We strongly urge you to contact the airlines, or speak with a travel agent, as soon as possible. Seats can be very difficult to obtain, particularly during the “spring break” period in March.
